The brief
Relace had three product surfaces with different buyers:
- Apply — for IDE / agent builders
- Embed — for retrieval pipelines
- Rerank — for search/RAG
The old site had one product page that tried to be all three. The new homepage needed to route the visitor to the right product in under 10 seconds.
What changed
- Three-card hero. Each card opens with the model name, the one-line job it does, and a code snippet showing the API call.
- Buyer-first navigation. Replaced the generic top nav with three persistent buttons: "I'm building an agent" / "I'm building search" / "I'm building retrieval." Click routes to the matching product.
- Pricing page consolidated. All three products on one page with a token-math calculator that updates as you drag a slider.
Outcome
- Marketing site shipped in 9 days, demo-day-ready
