Hevn — fintech homepage where bounce rate dropped 34%

Cross-border banking is a trust game before it is a product game. We restructured the homepage to lead with regulation, jurisdictions, and audit posture — not features.

The brief

Hevn handles cross-border payments for non-US founders. The buyer (founder, CFO, ops lead) needs to feel safe before they read a single feature. The old site led with feature bullets; the new site needed to lead with proof of trust.

What changed

  1. First viewport became a regulator-and-jurisdiction map. A simple map graphic showing the licensing footprint, with the audit firm named directly underneath.
  2. Counterparty list moved above the fold. Hevn settles through specific named banks; we surfaced them in a row of logos right under the hero.
  3. Compliance language separated from marketing copy. Multi-jurisdiction footer disclaimers via Framer's CMS so each region's footer is correct.

Outcome

  • Bounce rate -34%
  • Time-to-first-form-submit (account application) cut in half
  • Sales-team escalations about "is this legit?" dropped to ~zero (used to be ~2/wk)
